Established in 1976, Iafrate Machine Works Ltd. (IMW) supplies and produces high quality machined parts and components for a variety of manufacturing industries. IMW has expanded since 1978 to a current facility of 40,000 sq. ft. IMW's machining capabilities serve a wide range of customers, in the automotive, pulp and paper, aerospace, chemical, and abrasive industries. As a full-service shop, IMW adapts its skills and equipment to one-offs, short productions runs, as well as, long production runs. Operating 6 days a week, 24 hours a day IMW can get your project done.
Among our high-precision manufacturing equipment are CNC Turning
Centers, CNC Machining Centers, Grinding and CNC Boring Mills supported by a variety of
toolroom capabilities. IMW assists customers in their production requirements by analyzing
designs and specifications to establish manufacturing processes. CNC programs are
developed and applied to the machining of components that vary widely in size,
configuration and complexity.
The diversity of IMW's production capabilities allows for complete service, delivering
quality and price on time.
Throughout each customer project, our internationally accepted quality assurance procedures targets for zero defects. Built-in quality checks continually monitor the progress of all processes. These checks identify potential problems before they develop. Customers' products are stringently checked by specially trained personnel to ensure that we meet customers' exacting specifications. Our computerized, coordinate measuring system with SPC software measures three dimensional work pieces with complex geometric surface quickly and accurately.
We are especially aware of the need to respond quickly to customers' requests for quotations and to establish appropriate delivery lead times to comply with scheduled due dates.We welcome the opportunity to respond to customers' emergency needs.
